Damien is based on a character I made in middle school. When I started developing the story, I had completely forgotten his name, thus calling him “Nameless” for a while.

Aside from my personal life and college, I’d say it takes about 1-2 months. Sketching and planning takes a week, drawing everything is when things take awhile since I don’t fit my own standards. However, to fix this I’ve started reading comics again to see how the “pros” do it, and to prove that my art doesn’t need to be perfect. Just readable to a point where people get what’s happening.

Style wise- Gorillaz, Slow Damage, Jhonen Vasquez, and Death Note. In terms of storytelling, I take inspiration from Slow Damage, horror movies, and Lovecraft’s work. Also, a lot of artists such as Massive Attack and the Deftones.
